Hlas uchiitilaa akuq. I am the teacher of the boys.

Uchiitilangis akuning. I am their teacher.

Ting uchiitilax̂takus. They have me as a teacher = I (rather than somebody else) am their teacher. (Ting: object.)

Piitrax̂ tukukux̂. Peter is rich.

Piitrax̂ tukux̂ akux̂. Peter is a boss.

Anĝaĝinas Piitrax̂ tukux̂ hitikus. The people made Peter a boss (or: rich).

Anĝaĝinas tukux̂ hitikuu. The people made him a boss.
