A Great Summer

 

This summer Roger and Judy Adams and their son, John, went to Plains, Montana, to visit a friend on a ranch. Roger's friend raised horses. They were there from June 6th to the 20th.

Roger said he had a lot of fun because he got to help around the ranch. He helped by leveling the fields, planting oats and hay. He also learned how to work a back hoe. He says the weather was perfect, cool, and there was a lot of sunshine.

The best thing about being on the ranch, Roger said, was just getting to visit with my friend. But he also had a great time working there. The next time he gets a chance to go to that ranch he will, he said.
