GOALS

 

 

1. To introduce students to the Athabascan Indian cultures.

2. To introduce and explore the concepts of basic needs, natural environment, adaptations, yearly cycle, and culture.

3.To illustrate the relationship between a group's lifestyle and belief system and its environment.

4.To provide students with an opportunity to explore their natural environment from a perspective approximating that of the Athabascan cultures.
